Hon. Olowa Engages Lagos Business School, Reaffirms Commitment to Education  

Lagos, Nigeria – March 21, 2025  

The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has reaffirmed his administration's unwavering commitment to education, highlighting the successes of a strategic partnership with Pan-Atlantic University (PAU).  

Hon. Olowa made this known during a presentation at the Enterprise Development Center of Lagos Business School, where he met with members of the university’s International Accreditation Panel, including Professor Ricardo Peters, Professor Helen Andow, Dr. Blessing Ntemu, and Dr. Okekearu Nneka**.  

Speaking at the session, Hon. Olowa emphasized the tangible impact of the collaboration between Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and PAU. According to him, the initiative has been instrumental in cultivating a success-driven mindset among students, providing them with quality educational opportunities.  

He revealed that six students from the weekend tutorial program organized by the council had secured scholarships to study various courses at PAU. Among them, one has achieved a first-class grade, while the others are maintaining strong upper-class standings.  

Additionally, Hon. Olowa noted that the collaboration has significantly boosted JAMB scores for students, equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence to excel academically and compete for opportunities in higher education.  

Present at the academic discussion were key stakeholders, including Mr. Frank Wiggle, Public Relations Officer of Pan-Atlantic University, and Mr. Alani Lateef, Coordinator of the Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council, among other distinguished guests.  

The meeting reinforced Hon. Olowa’s administration’s continued support for education, with a pledge to sustain initiatives that empower students and secure a brighter future for the youth in Ibeju-Lekki.
