Back when the Eleko corridor of Lagos was dismissed as remote and undeveloped, Balogun saw potential where others saw problems. Armed with a vision of a self-sufficient residential community that blended luxury with everyday functionality, she launched Amen Estate—a name now synonymous with premium living in the heart of what has become known as the New Lagos.

Her journey was anything but smooth. With limited infrastructure, scarce investor confidence, and a chorus of skeptics, Balogun forged ahead. She self-funded essential amenities, including road networks and power systems, and steadily built trust within the market.

“We weren’t just building houses; we were pioneering a new standard of living,” she recalls.

That pioneering spirit paid off. Amen Estate’s first phase was completed ahead of schedule, drawing families seeking security, comfort, and quality in a previously overlooked region. The ripple effect was undeniable—Eleko evolved into a booming residential hub, now flanked by major infrastructure such as the Lekki Deep Seaport, the coastal road, and the proposed Lekki International Airport.

Today, the Amen Series spans over 400 hectares, boasting paved roads, manicured green spaces, and well-planned residential clusters. Redbrick Homes has grown into a respected force in Nigeria’s real estate industry, with Balogun’s influence extending across state lines and into the hearts of aspiring homeowners.
