APC Primaries: Odunmbaku Visits Voting Centres, Calls for Peaceful Conduct

The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), David Odunmbaku, on Saturday visited several voting centres during the All Progressives Congress (APC) direct primaries and urged party members to maintain peace and order throughout the exercise.

The APC House of Representatives primaries commenced nationwide on Saturday as party members trooped out to elect candidates who will represent the party in the forthcoming general elections.

During his tour of the voting centres within Ojodu LCDA, Odunmbaku commended party members for their turnout and commitment to the democratic process.

Some of the centres visited by the council chairman included Ward B at Ojodu Primary School, Ojodu; Ward F at Estate Primary School, Oluwole, Ogba; and Ward G located in front of Powerline Health Centre, Powerline, Oke-Ira.

Addressing party delegates and members at the various centres, Odunmbaku appealed to them to conduct themselves peacefully and exercise their franchise without intimidation or fear.

He also charged party faithful to remain united and committed to securing victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

The council chairman reiterated the importance of peaceful participation in the electoral process, noting that credible primaries would further strengthen the party ahead of the polls.
