Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Chairman Aroyewun Delivers Campaign Promise, Donates Brand New Bus to Market Association
The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has donated a brand new commercial bus to the Association of Commodity Women and Men of Nigeria, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Chapter, fulfilling a campaign promise aimed at supporting traders and boosting economic activities within the council area.

The presentation was made during activities marking the 10th Coronation Anniversary of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, where the chairman said the donation fulfilled a campaign promise made to the association before assuming office.
According to Aroyewun, the initiative reflects his administration's determination to improve the welfare of traders, whom he described as key drivers of the local economy.
He recalled assuring market women and men during his electioneering campaign that their requests would receive attention and said the donation demonstrates his commitment to keeping promises made to residents.
The chairman noted that the commercial bus would enhance the association's operations by improving members' mobility and supporting their business activities, thereby contributing to economic growth within the council.
"This administration believes that prosperity is measured by the visible improvement in the lives of our people," Aroyewun said, adding that his administration would continue implementing programmes that benefit various groups, including traders, youths, students and artisans, in line with his GLORY Agenda.
He described the donation as part of broader efforts to strengthen the trading community and reaffirmed his administration's resolve to address the needs of different sectors across Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
