 International Crusade for Zion Ministry Kicks Off in Imo State August 21

The 2026 World Conference of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach will take place from Friday, August 21, to Sunday, August 23, at Zion City, the permanent headquarters of the ministry in Mgbichi, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

The three-day international crusade was announced in a press statement issued by the Zion Ministry in Lagos on Friday.

The annual World Conference is the largest gathering organised by the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach and attracts worshippers, pilgrims and participants from Nigeria and various parts of the world, including Africa, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

This year’s edition will be the third time the annual conference is being held outside Lagos, with organisers expecting hundreds of thousands of Zionites to converge on Zion City for the event.

The conference will also mark the culmination of the ministry’s 100 Days Fasting and Prayer programme, which commenced in May.

The 100 Days Fasting and Prayer is one of the ministry’s major annual spiritual programmes, featuring fasting, prayers, worship, biblical reflection, thanksgiving and fellowship. The programme traditionally concludes with the World Conference, which brings together worshippers, clergy, pilgrims, volunteers and media representatives.

According to the ministry, the 2026 conference is expected to feature intensive prayer sessions, worship and preaching, alongside testimonies from participants.

The Spiritual Director of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, expressed optimism that the crusade would witness significant spiritual experiences.

He said the gathering is expected to record thousands of people surrendering their lives to Christ, as well as miracles, instant healings, deliverance from bondage, salvation of souls and verifiable testimonies.

The ministry urged participants and members travelling from different parts of the country and abroad to prepare for the three-day gathering at Zion City, Mgbichi, Ngor Okpala, Imo State.
