Osun Election: Prophet Ikuru Predicts Adeleke’s Victory, Says APC Will Miss ‘Target’
The Founder and General Overseer of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Lagos, Prophet Godwin Ikuru, has predicted the re-election of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in the forthcoming governorship election.
Ikuru, while speaking on political developments ahead of the poll, said he had received a revelation indicating that Adeleke would defeat his opponents and retain his position as governor.
According to the cleric, the revelation came through a symbolic basketball contest in which the All Progressives Congress (APC) failed to score, while Adeleke successfully threw his ball into the basket.
He interpreted the revelation as a sign that the incumbent governor would emerge victorious in the election.
“According to what I saw, APC threw the ball but it did not enter the basket. When Adeleke threw his own ball, it went straight into the basket,” Ikuru said.
The prophet also recalled that he had predicted Adeleke’s victory ahead of the 2022 Osun governorship election, claiming that the prediction eventually came to pass.
Ikuru, however, expressed disappointment that the governor had not remembered or acknowledged him after the election, despite the prophecy he said he made before Adeleke emerged victorious.
The cleric further made predictions concerning the 2027 general election, declaring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win the presidential election.
He urged Nigerians to pray for Tinubu’s continued good health and long life, while calling for prayers ahead of the country’s next major electoral cycle.
On the political outlook in the South-West, Ikuru predicted that the APC would retain its dominance in Lagos and emerge victorious in Ogun State.
He also appealed to political leaders and Nigerians to prioritise peace, urging all stakeholders to remain prayerful and avoid actions that could undermine the stability of the country during the election period.
Ikuru’s predictions come amid increasing political activities and preparations for forthcoming elections across the country. The outcome of the Osun governorship election, however, will ultimately be determined by voters through the electoral process and officially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
