RSSOSA President Celebrates Damola Aiyeola at 60, Hails Legacy of Service
The National President of the Remo Secondary School Old Students Association (RSSOSA), Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, has celebrated the National Vice President of the Association’s UK Branch, Mr. Damola Aiyeola, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a committed leader whose service has positively impacted students and the development of the alma mater.
In a birthday message marking Aiyeola’s diamond jubilee, Emmanuelking described the celebrant as a God-fearing family man and exemplary old student whose life has reflected faith, leadership, responsibility and service.
The RSSOSA National President commended Aiyeola’s contributions as National Vice President of the UK Branch, noting that his leadership goes beyond occupying an executive position to delivering tangible interventions for the benefit of students and the school community.
He particularly highlighted several initiatives undertaken by the RSSOSA UK Branch under Aiyeola’s leadership, including the renovation of UK-adopted classrooms at Remo Secondary School and the donation of learning materials to outstanding students in both the Senior and Junior sections.
Emmanuelking also praised the branch for supporting and funding holiday tutorials for SS3 students, alongside the distribution of textbooks and sanitary pads to participating students.
According to him, the initiatives demonstrate the responsibility of old students to give back to the institution that shaped their lives and provide meaningful support to current students.
He said Aiyeola’s leadership had helped transform the UK Branch’s commitment to the alma mater into practical interventions capable of improving students’ academic performance and general welfare.
“Alumni leadership is ultimately about service, responsibility and giving back,” Emmanuelking noted, stressing that Aiyeola’s contributions had made a significant difference to the growth and development of RSSOSA and Remo Secondary School.
As the celebrant clocks 60, the RSSOSA National President prayed for divine health, protection, prosperity, renewed strength and greater fulfilment for Aiyeola.
He also prayed for God’s continued blessings and preservation of the celebrant’s family, while asking that Aiyeola be rewarded for his dedication to service.
Emmanuelking further expressed hope that the years ahead would bring Aiyeola greater opportunities to contribute to the advancement of RSSOSA, its UK Branch and Remo Secondary School.
