 Adron Homes Unveils Premium Estate Plans for Ile-Ife, Joins 2026 Olojo Festival

Adron Homes and Properties has announced plans to participate in the 11th Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State, while unveiling plans for a Premium Estate development aimed at supporting housing, investment and community growth in the ancient Yoruba city.

The company said its participation in the 2026 Olojo Festival reflects its growing interest in Ile-Ife and its commitment to linking real estate development with cultural preservation, sustainable tourism and community development.

The 2026 Olojo Festival, themed “Culture Preservation Through Sustainable Tourism,” is expected to bring together traditional rulers, government officials, corporate organisations, cultural stakeholders, tourists and members of the media to celebrate Yoruba heritage and the historical significance of Ile-Ife.

At the press conference and unveiling ceremony ahead of the festival, Adron Homes was represented by a delegation from its Western operations, comprising Ogundapo Odunola, Deputy Managing Director, Western Super-Cluster; Johnson Olugbenga, Assistant Managing Director, Western Galaxy 1; and Shobowale Taiwo, Deputy Sales Manager, Livingspring World.

Speaking at the event, Seyi Oyekunle, Director General, Media, Branding and Corporate Communication, Adron Group, who represented the Managing Director, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, said the company’s participation was based on its belief that cultural preservation and sustainable development could complement each other.

Oyekunle described the festival theme as timely, noting that culture remains central to the identity and history of a people, while sustainable tourism can create employment, attract investment, promote entrepreneurship and stimulate community development.

He described the Olojo Festival as more than an annual cultural celebration, saying it represents the enduring connection between the past, present and future of Ile-Ife and its position in Yoruba civilisation.

According to him, Adron Group’s vision goes beyond property development.

Adron Homes Unveils Premium Estate Project

A major highlight of the company’s participation was the unveiling of its proposed Premium Estate project in Ile-Ife.

Oyekunle expressed appreciation to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for the confidence and approval granted to Adron Homes and Properties to undertake the development.

He said the approval placed a responsibility on the company to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ile-Ife while respecting its historical and cultural heritage.

Oyekunle said Adron Homes would deploy its experience, resources and capacity to deliver a development capable of creating value for residents and contributing to the wider growth of the community.

He explained that the Premium Estate would go beyond providing housing, as it is expected to attract investment, support local businesses, create opportunities and strengthen connections between Ile-Ife and sons and daughters of Ifeland and Yorubaland in the diaspora.

He said the project would provide members of the diaspora with an opportunity to “come home, invest home, build home and preserve home.”

Adron Calls for Year-Round Tourism in Ile-Ife

Beyond the Olojo Festival, Oyekunle called for concerted efforts to position Ile-Ife as a year-round tourism destination, stressing that the city's tourism potential should not be limited to the annual festival.

He said sustainable tourism should translate into tangible economic opportunities for residents, particularly artisans, youths, entrepreneurs and operators within the hospitality sector.

The Adron Group executive also encouraged young people to view Yoruba culture and heritage as potential sources of economic opportunities, noting that they could build careers and businesses around film, technology, fashion, music, arts and tourism.

The press conference for the 11th Olojo Festival attracted traditional rulers, government representatives, corporate organisations, members of the Olojo Festival Committee, cultural stakeholders and journalists.

With its participation in the festival and proposed Premium Estate development, Adron Homes and Properties said it is deepening its engagement with Ile-Ife while advancing its vision of “Building Homes, Cities and Communities Across the Globe.”
