....Carbonated Soft Drink and Fearless Energy Drink, brands from the stable of Rite Foods Limited, are set to take music, dance, talent discovery and entertainment to students of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Lagos, from September 15 to 17, 2026.
The three-day campus engagement, organised as part of the brands’ ongoing partnership with Soundcity OnTour, is designed to provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents while enjoying a series of interactive entertainment activities.
The programme will begin with campus activations aimed at building excitement among students ahead of the main events.
The second day will focus on emerging musical talents through the Bigi Music Competition, which will give aspiring artistes at YABATECH an opportunity to perform before a wider audience.
One outstanding performer will emerge as the campus winner and receive a ₦1 million cash prize, while the leading talent will also have an opportunity to proceed to the national stage for further exposure and development.
Beyond music, students will also have an opportunity to showcase their dancing abilities through the Fearless Dance Challenge, an initiative designed to spotlight creative young dancers and provide them with a platform to compete and entertain their peers.
The three-day engagement will culminate in the Soundcity OnTour concert on the final day, featuring music, performances and other entertainment activities as the brands bring the campus takeover to a close.
Speaking on the initiative, Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods Limited, said the company was committed to creating platforms that align with the creativity and aspirations of young Nigerians.
According to him, young people are actively shaping contemporary culture and deserve platforms that enable them to express themselves and connect with opportunities.
“Young people are not waiting for culture to happen; they are creating it every day,” Eze said.
He added that through the Bigi and Fearless brands, Rite Foods Limited seeks to meet young Nigerians where their creativity is most visible while providing platforms for self-expression, talent discovery and access to opportunities beyond their immediate environment.
The YABATECH activation is expected to combine brand engagement with music, dance and talent development, placing students at the centre of the three-day entertainment experience.
