Dangote Refinery IPO: Fidelity Bank Offers Two-Minute Digital Subscription Route

Dangote Refinery IPO: Fidelity Bank Offers Two-Minute Digital Subscription Route

Investors seeking to participate in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Initial Public Offering (IPO) can complete their subscription in less than two minutes through Fidelity Bank’s digital banking channels.

Fidelity Bank has introduced multiple subscription options to accommodate existing retail and corporate customers as well as investors who do not maintain accounts with the bank, both within Nigeria and abroad.

The available channels include the Fidelity Bank Mobile App for iOS and Android users, the bank’s corporate online banking platform for corporate customers, and designated Fidelity Bank branches nationwide.

A major feature of the bank’s offering is the provision of Virtual Accounts for non-Fidelity Bank customers.

Under the arrangement, prospective investors can initiate their subscriptions through the Fidelity Bank website and receive dedicated Virtual Account details into which they can transfer funds from an existing operational bank account.

The Virtual Account option allows investors to participate in the Dangote Refinery IPO without first opening a conventional Fidelity Bank account. It also supports third-party-funded subscriptions, providing an additional avenue for investors in Nigeria and abroad.

Existing retail customers can subscribe through the Fidelity Bank Mobile App, while corporate customers can use the bank’s corporate online banking platform, subject to the applicable inputter and authoriser processes.

Investors requiring assistance can also visit any designated Fidelity Bank branch or contact the bank’s TrueServe support team.

Fidelity Bank said investors can reach TrueServe by calling 070034335489, sending a WhatsApp message to 09030005252, or emailing trueserve@fidelitybank.ng. Dedicated personnel are available to guide intending subscribers through the process.

Prospective investors are required to provide relevant identification and account information. Depending on the subscription route, this may include a Bank Verification Number (BVN) for non-Fidelity Bank account holders, a National Identification Number (NIN) for minors, and an active operational account or online banking profile for existing Fidelity Bank customers.

Investors without a Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account can also participate in the offer.

According to the bank, a stockbroking account can be opened through Fidelity Securities Limited to facilitate the electronic crediting of allotted shares following completion of the allotment process.

Upon successful authorisation of a subscription, the investor’s selected account will be debited, or the assigned Virtual Account funded, depending on the chosen subscription method.

Investors will subsequently receive a confirmation message, transaction reference and receipt as evidence of their application.

Fidelity Bank said the initiative forms part of its commitment to expanding access to Nigeria’s capital market through simple, inclusive and technology-driven investment solutions.

Prospective investors have been advised to carefully review the approved Offer Prospectus before making investment decisions.

The prospectus contains the applicable eligibility requirements, offer price, minimum subscription amount, permissible multiples, offer period and other terms governing the Dangote Refinery IPO.
