Interswitch Renews Headline Sponsorship of Inspire Africa Conference, Backs Africa’s Next Generation of Product Builders
Interswitch Group, Africa’s integrated payments and commerce company, has renewed its headline partnership with the Inspire Africa Conference, extending its support for the innovation and product development ecosystem on the continent.
The 2026 edition of the conference, themed “From Problems to Products,” is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 15, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The renewed partnership marks the third edition of the conference supported by Interswitch, with the relationship spanning almost three years since 2023.
The partnership reflects Interswitch’s continued support for platforms that bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, product leaders and other stakeholders to exchange ideas, develop capabilities and explore practical solutions to Africa’s challenges.
Over the past three editions, Interswitch’s product teams and professionals from related fields have participated actively in the conference, using the platform for knowledge sharing, industry networking, thought leadership and engagement with stakeholders across Africa’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
Speaking on the renewed partnership, Tomi Ogunlesi, Divisional Head, Brands & Communications, Interswitch Group, said the company’s continued support reflects its belief in connecting ideas, talent and practical solutions to address Africa’s unique needs.
According to Ogunlesi, some of the continent’s biggest opportunities lie in identifying pressing problems and developing products that are relevant, scalable and sustainable.
She said the Inspire Africa Conference had provided Interswitch employees with opportunities to learn, connect with other innovators and contribute to conversations shaping the future of products and technology in Africa.
Also commenting on the partnership, Christian Idiodi, Partner at Silicon Valley Product Group and Co-Founder of Inspire Africa Conference, said the conference’s 2026 theme highlights the need for Africa’s product community to improve its ability to identify significant problems and develop products suited to local markets.
Idiodi described Interswitch as a consistent partner in the conference’s mission of providing Africa’s builders with platforms to learn, connect and develop their capabilities.
As part of its participation in the 2026 conference, Interswitch will lead key conversations on a select panel and steer the product narrative on its own stage at the Founder’s Track on Thursday, October 15.
The company will also host an interactive exhibition where attendees can engage directly with its team and gain insights into its latest product developments and emerging trends in the payments and technology ecosystem.
The Inspire Africa Conference is expected to attract founders, product professionals, innovators, business leaders and other ecosystem stakeholders for two days of conversations, learning, networking and practical engagement.
The conference’s “From Problems to Products” theme is expected to place emphasis on the process of identifying real-world challenges and transforming them into products and solutions capable of delivering meaningful and sustainable impact across African markets.
Interswitch’s continued participation reinforces its interest in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of scalable products designed to address the evolving needs of African consumers and businesses.
