SONA groups of Industries Honoured with Award of Excellence

SONA Group of Industries has bagged an Award for Excellence in Industrial Development at the third edition of the National Mandate Leadership Award  which held in Sheraton Hotel ,Ikeja , Lagos over the weekend.

A statement signed by Christiana Inoh(Media Developer,SONA Group of Industries)  made available to newsmen on Monday revealed that the event was attended by important dignitaries from the government officials, the business sector, entertainment, Legal Practitioners and International bodies. 

Mr. A. K. Mirchandani is the Chairman, SONA Group of Industries, a conglomerate of companies which has been in Nigeria for  over 40 years, creating job opportunities for 15,000 ( direct and indirect jobs)  employees. Their primary focus is more on agro- based and other agricultural products manufacturing.

SONA Group of Industries sources and Produces 100% local raw materials, this is to encourage internal generation economy and employment ;  this is having local raw materials, creating jobs for the citizens of Nigeria , thus expanding the capacity of Production.

A.K .Mirchandani built a multi – dollars investment  in AGRO based manufacturing  and other sectors, SONA  Group of Industries to carve a niche for the Manufacturer Industries in Nigeria . He expressed gratitude to the organizer for a good work and appreciated them for the Award.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the award presentation, Mr. Mirchandani promised that SONA Group will  continue to create opportunity for Nigerians and will continue to use local raw materials to grow the Nigerian economy
