NAGAFF ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES AS PRINCE EZE UCHENDU EMERGES APAPA CHAIRMAN

National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), on Monday conducted election for executive positions of the Apapa chapter of the association from which Prince Eze Uchendu emerged victorious as the new Chairman.

National Electoral Commission (NECOM) Chairman of the association, Nonso Ejikeme, in an interview said the peaceful conduct of the election was a reflection of NAGAFF as an association that values quality and peaceful people with sound educational background.

In his remarks, president of the association, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi described the election as smooth, peaceful and credible.

In a post election speech, the newly elected Chairman, Prince Eze uchendu promised to bring out his best to map out a strategy to bridge the gap between the chapter members and the various government security agencies at the port and terminals.

Also speaking, Emeka Obinalu who was elected as Vice Chairman pledged to assist the Chairman give an efficient visionary leadership to the chapter.

Newly elected Financial Secretary, Chukwuemeka Ikeobi, said he will use modern methods to keep a proper account of the finances for the chapter including using software application to make sure that the chapter account is in a good state.

Other elected officials including Desmond ugwu, Treasurer, Adebayo Egunjobi, Custom Freight Forwarders Relationship Officer, Ms Hilda, Secretary, Francis onwucheka, Public Relations Officer, Nelly ljeoma, Welfare officer, Mustapha Musa Usman, Presidential Liaison Officer, Omotayo Samuel, Ethics and Compliance Officer, Afam Ifeanyi as the Inspectorate and Discipline Officer, all promised to discharge their duties effectively for the growth of the association.
