Ooni charges Oloworo royal family to support the new king
At the coronation ceremony of Oba Babatunde Saliu, the Elebo ll of Oworonshoki Kingdom, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja ll charged aggrieved members of the royal family to rally round the new monarch with their support.
Oba Babatunde Sanusi before his royal title as Oloworo of Oworo was the vice chairman kosofe local government. Ooni while praying and wishing the new king glad tidings in his reign advised member of his family to stay away from grievances and rally round to support the new king.
He told the king to embrace patience in his doings so as to carry his chiefs, the family members and everyone along in decision making .
He begged everyone to let love leads in order for progress, growth and development in Oworoshoki land. He also advised the king's wife to be patience and be a mother to everyone around her.
Oba Saliu, the new Elebo II of Oworonshoki in Kosofe Local Government of Lagos state, appreciates the governor for starting the good work of roads rehabilitation in the community.
According to him, four major roads in the community have just been rehabilitated by the state government while work is ongoing on fixing the drains to curb flooding.
“We thank the state government for starting this great work in our area and we are still appealing for more infrastructural projects to ensure more developments in the community..
“Oworonshoki is home to over one million people but has been at the receiving end of an infrastructural deficit.
“Within a few months of my ascension, the Lagos state government has begun the rehabilitations of four roads in Oworonshoki.
“I commend the state government for this.
