Arewa support movement distributes campaign vehicles in support of the coming election

A group under the Arewa community in Lagos led by Muhammed Maikano organized a day sensitization including distribution of campaign vehicles to some of their executives in support of APC towards the coming election.

The event which take place last Tuesday was witnessed by the big wigs in APC Lagos, the party chairman Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, DG Ethnic, Hon. Adekunle Ayoola, Hon. Fuad Oki, Chairman Arewa community, Engr. Saadu Yusuf Dandare, Alhaji Tanko Auna with the host of others, leaders of Arewa community from 57 local government in Lagos State were also in attendance.

Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi in his speech said that the Arewa community in Lagos has made the party proud, "all your efforts are seen, we are really encouraged to work with your chairman". 

He appreciates what Arewa community are doing in Lagos, for not derailing from the progressive plans. 

Alhaji Saadu said he feels great for the development, Arewa support movement has donated some campaign vehicles before, they are donating more later, he said they are working as a progressive members working towards Asiwaju's dream.

DG Arewa support movement, Muhammed Maikano Lawal is the initiative of Arewa chieftains in South West to build the bridge between the government and the people, "we have history of lots of Arewas that has settled in the south west, it is best to say a lot of us in the South are now Southerners, we are more  less a part of the South". 

"Asiwaju has been a brother, father and a family to us, it's very clear that the leader we want is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu."

"We can't say everybody is completely satisfied, we had a long relationship with APC in South West, they are ready to solve our problems, they listened to our needs, that's the reason we are supporting them".

Also speaking to the journalist is Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko,  " I am one of the most happiest person here today, "a lot of people thought we will come to them for souvenirs, but we Arewa's decided to provide everything our people needed to make the campaign easy, so far we have shared 115 vehicles, and more are still coming, we are trying to send a message accross, that Arewa living in Lagos are ready to support APC, this time is pay back time for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed  Tinubu" he said.
