The President, CHANGE AGENT FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL (CAFI) Honourable Dr. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi (CARRYGO) has hailed the Governor Of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu on improved security architecture of the state.
More so, he called on the public, community leaders and the youths especially to embrace community policing system.

Okeyomi made these remarks during an interactive session with journalists on security and safety matters in the state, a report which was broadcast, Wednesday, on Radio Lagos 107.5 FM.

"Government efforts alone can not do it, the issues of security and safety is everybody's concern. It is our collective responsibility and in our best interest to ensuring a crime free society. 
Therefore, all hands must be on desk" CarryGo advised.

Dr. Okeyomi, a security and safety expert and consultant with over two decades experience laid emphases on Police/Community Relations in making sure of a secured environment for all.

According to CarryGo, there should be a close working relationship between The Nigeria Police Force and Community leadership in every state to preventing and combating crime.

"Fighting crime in every Community should be joint efforts of the people and the police. It is responsiblity of all of us to be security and safety conscious.
It is our obligation to work closely with the police and other relevant law enforcement agencies in their efforts to reducing crime and improving the quality of lives in every neighbourhood"

Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, further stressed that, the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu has always been proactively response to security and safety matters, thereby improving on the security architecture of the state, for the benefit of all.

Compared to some other states, where daylight robbery reigns, especially snatching of phones and other valuables.
Okeyomi said "the present administration in Lagos State is leaving no stone unturned..... We are witnesses to the tremendous improvements in Lagos State security operatives in the last four years or there about.
The government is working day and night here, to ensure that security and safety agencies have access to deliverables needed to ease their operations"

CarryGo recalled the government efforts, giving supports necessary to the Police Force and other security outfits, with provision of equipment, including over 300 patrol vehicles to make their operations easier and more efficient.
More essentially, Okeyomi commended the government intelligence gathering from the grassroots via the Lagos Neighbourhood Security Corp (LNSC).
