IPARAPO OMO OODUA CONDEMNS THREAT TO LIFE OF MAZI OKWU NNABUIKE

*IPARAPO OMO OODUA CONDEMNS THREAT TO LIFE OF MAZI OKWU NNABUIKE*

The attention of the leadership of IPARAPO OMO OODUA (Convergence of Oduduwa Descendants) the Pan Sociocultural group of Yoruba indigenes world over has been called to the recent news going round that the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike is under intense life threatening violent attacks and threat to his life just days after he congratulated President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The prompt response of condemnation of this threat by the YORUBA COUNCIL OF YOUTHS WORLDWIDE in a PRESS statement signed by its President-General Aare Oba Oladotun Hassan is highly commendable.

Hence the IPAPARO OMO OODUA joins the rest of the world to condemn the threat to life and call on the security agencies to take proactive measures in this respect and bring to book the men of the underworld who see nothing good in peaceful cooperation and the cross-tribal interaction.

Like it must be established, this news is not only condemnable but the purported actions are not too good for a democracy presently receiving a life support as occasioned by the emergence of ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU as the President-Elect.

The present skirmishes and political miscalculations of some disgruntle elements among the rank and file of the south-eastern Nigeria to create a disunited Nigeria with false alarm that the Yoruba and the Ibo are at logger heads should be outrightly condemned by every well meaning Nigeria.

The idea of that the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike congratulated ASIWAJU AHMED TINUBU as Nigeria's president elect is acceptable to we of the IPARAPO OMO OODUA as this will go a long way to harmonize the political differences occasioned by the immediate past presidential election dragged into a tribal calculus.

We welcome the good deed of the Ibo youth leader and call on the security agencies to take appropriate actions to protect his life from those threatening him for extending a hand of acceptance and friendship.

IPARAPO OMO OODUA therefore condemn in the highest term any form of sociopolitical influence and insinuations that may truncate our present transition exercise as a nation.

And we also once again say a big congratulations to ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU as the next president of Nigeria come May 29, 2023.

We stand with you.
