Iya Oloja General received Omoluabi Prestigious Awards
Among other distinguished Nigerians who came from far and near to receive the historical Award . The award was given to Princess Folashade Azeezat Nurudeen A.K.A. Abeo Oja, Iya Oloja general of Oyo State and Southwest in recognition of her numerous philanthropic works and contributions to the Yoruba cultural heritages.
In her remarks, she said the event is an historic event where Yoruba Culture and traditions is showcased.
In her speech when addressing the press, she said " I am happy with what I saw when I came to this event, I noticed our cultural heritage is been restored gradually, the best language ever is the Yoruba language, which should be appreciated among the Yoruba people by inculcating the habit of speaking the language with their children."
"We should be proud of our language everywhere we go and wherever we are."
She urge all Yoruba race to support one another and celebrates their cultural heritage. She thanked the organisers of the prestigious award for counting her worthy for such valuable award and promised to continue promoting Yoruba culture and heritages locally and internationally.
