Oniba Ekun bags Honourary Doctorate Degree for Grassroot Development from LASU

Oba Adeshina Raji Ashade, The Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom last Thursday bags honourary Doctorate Degree from LASU, the Royal Father who is known for his Philanthropist life style, who has made outstanding impact in his community and among his folks was given the awards in order to encourage him to do more.

Speaking to the journalists after the ceremony was the the APC State chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, he described Oniba as a man of honour, he said he really deserves every good thing that comes to him.

"All of us are living witness to what Oniba has done. " When he became the king of Iba, he has built an ICT center, a Magistrate court and also made outstanding impact in the tertiary institution. He also notes that Oniba was recognized in order for him to do more.

Another member who also spoke about the award is the Honourable member of house of assembly, representing Ojo constituency 2, Hon. Surajudeen Olatunji Tijani (EMIR) he said Oniba Ekun has facilitated lots of remarkable projects within and outside the community. He urge other indigenes to emulate his act of giving. 

Olori Abike Adeshina one of Oniba Ekun's wife describe her husband as someone who carries the youths along on whatever he wants to do. She wish him long life and also prays that God will grant Kabiesi the strength to make more impacts.
