"My attention has been drawn to a malicious post making the rounds on social media where some unscrupulous elements inscribed my name and picture on a bag of rice tagged _Wale Akinterinwa's Palliative Show.

This is a hogwash and a poorly hatched plot to dent my image. I know absolutely nothing about the parody called Palliative Show. 

"While I vehemently dissociate myself from it, I urge members of the public to ignore  the purveyours of this ignominious act and their sponsors."

"Notwithstanding the orchestrated campaign of calumny, I remain irrevocably committed to the life-changing, developmental agenda of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, an agenda that has taken Ondo State to enviable heights in Nigeria"
