NIYES: FG Set to launch a youth engagement program to curb unemployment.

The Tinubu led administration is set to tackle youth unemployment and build new set of Enterpreneurs across various sectors of the economy with the launch of its new program, - Nigerian Youth Engagement Scheme, NIYES.

The NIYES Program which is initiated by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development is designed to offer orientation, training and mobilization for young Nigerians in Agriculture, ICT, Fashion, Manufacturing, Renewable energy, Trade, Entertainments and others.

The Honorable Minister for Youth Development Ho. Jamila Ibrahim hinted that this Program has become necessary considering the surging population of unemployed youths  as over 80 million youths in the country are unemployed.

She added that with the launch and implementation of this unique Program, thousands of Enterpreneurs will emerge and be mobilized to start up businesses and small scale firms providing employment for millions of youths across the nation.

Nigerian Youths have remained optimistic about the new Initiative of government stating that it is a big development from the government of President Tinubu and are hopeful that it will transform the lives of majority of the Nigerian Youths.
