Plateau State Tragedy: Prophet Godwin Ikuru condemn Killings
The Plateau State Police Command on Tuesday disclosed that 96 persons were killed while 221 houses were set ablaze during the Christmas Eve attacks by gunmen in Plateau State.
According to him, the attacks that were carried out by the assailants in 15 communities of Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas of the state also left eight vehicles burnt in the process.
Meanwhile, the prophet said what happened in Plateau state is very painful and sad incidents to see people die when they were meant to be celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, he therefore note that he's not happy with the turn out of events in Plateau state.
He therefore sympathize with the families who lost their loved ones in the said attack. He prayed for the families that the Lord will give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of their family members.
He also sympathize with the governor of Plateau state, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, he prayed that God will give the governor the strength to overcome in his government.
The prophet also promised to continue praying for the peace of the Lord to remain in Plateau state and in the Nation at large. He said there won't be tragedy of such again in the history of Nigeria.
