Prophet Godwin Ikuru condemns the burning of Okuama community

At least 15 military personnel were killed by irate youths during a communal clash over a land dispute in Bomadi and Okuoma communities in Delta state.

The personnel attached to the 181 Amphibious Battalion were responding to a distress call when they were ambushed and killed on Thursday.

Meanwhile, stakeholders all over the country has condemned the attack on the military personnels. 

In another news, the presiding prophet of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry Prophet Godwin Ikuru condemns the aftermath of the event, he said the military shouldn't have razed down the community, causing more damage to what has been destroyed.

Prophet said, two wrongs don't make a right. There are innocent children and women in the community, that burning down the community is not the solution to the  problem.

He said what they should have done is to fish out the perpetrators and call for peace, instead of destroying a whole community.

He therefore commiserate with the Nigeria Army and the families of the falling heros, while also calling on president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take charge of the welfare of the families of the deceased soldiers.
