KESHINRO RECEIVES NAOSNP EXECUTIVES, COMMENDS ROLE OF MEDIA IN PROMOTING SAFETY AND SECURITY, NSCDC OPERATIONS IN LAGOS

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Mr Adedotun Keshinro today, Wednesday, 17th April, 2024, received in his office the executives of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers ( NAOSNP ) led by its National President, Mr Oki Samson.

The Lagos State Commandant was ably represented by Deputy Commandant of Corps Olusola Jimoh in charge of Budget, Planning, Research and Statistics ( B-PRS ). He commended NAOSNP for their unwavering commitment towards using professional methods of reporting with a touch of excellence in promoting safety and security in the state. These efforts he believed had added to  the good image the Corps has in the state .

The NAOSNP National  President in the same vein also sought better collaboration with the Corps and seized the opportunity to commend the State Commandant for the good work he has been doing since he resumed in the state. He charged the Command to continue to see the media as a friend and not a foe hence the need for more invitations to them so as to further enhance transparency, inclusion and synergy between security and media.

Present at the meeting also was DCC Cornelius Adebayo in charge of Crisis Management and Chief Superintendent of Corps Adediran Adeyemi, Staff Officer ( SO ) to the Lagos State Commandant.
