MAYOR OLOWA FELICITATES MUSLIMS ON EID FITR 

The chairman of Ibeju Lekki local government, Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa felicitates muslims in Ibeju Lekki on the celebration of Eid -el-Fitr.

He urge them to continue in the act of peace and goodness also that the preaching and teaching of Ramadan to show in their daily activities.

"We thank Almighty Allah for making us see this year's Ramadan to a conclusive end.

As we know, Ramadan being part of the tenet of Islam is synonymous with teachings on the act of goodness, the need to cohabit peacefully, and be the best we can."

It is, therefore, a great gift to be part of today’s celebrations following in the steps of Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

"I am, on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitri

appealing to Muslims all over the world to imbibe the spirit of oneness portrayed in the holy month to reach out to one another and live peacefully for our personal growth and that of the society as  dictated in the Holy Quran."

"Also, permit me to appreciate the Ibeju-Lekki Muslim Ummah for their support so far as I implore them to channel their consistent prayers towards the general development of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State and  Nigeria at large."

"As we bid farewell to this blessed month, may Almighty Allah accept our worship, forgive our shortcomings, and shower His countless blessings upon us and our families."

"On behalf of the Government and the good people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government I am wishing all Muslim faithfuls Eid-Ul-Mubarak as we share and  enjoy the spirit of Eid."

May Almighty Allah not make it our last.
