NDLEA Lagos State Commander Endorses NAOSNP Walks Against Cultism, Drug Abuse, and Domestic Violence
The Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos State, Abubakar Liman Wali, has thrown his support behind the upcoming NAOSNP Walks Against Cultism, Drug Abuse, and Domestic Violence. This advocacy program, organized by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), is set to take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Commander Wali expressed his endorsement during a courtesy visit by NAOSNP's executive council, led by President Samson Oki, at his office in Gbagada on Thursday. "We are in this together, and we will support any activity that is geared towards reducing, if not eliminating completely, the menace of drug abuse," Wali affirmed.
He commended NAOSNP for its positive reporting and pledged to continue the partnership for the national interest and the welfare of Nigerian citizens.
In his three-month tenure as the Lagos State Commander, Liman has made significant strides in combating drug-related crimes, including the arrest of peddlers, couriers, and users, as well as the seizure of illicit drugs.
