Hit -and -run Trailer Driver Arrested by Lastma in Lagos 
Lagos, Nigeria - A trailer driver involved in a hit-and-run incident at Anthony Oke, en route to Oshodi, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and handed over to the police for further investigation.

The driver, operating a trailer belonging to Honeywell Flour Mill Plc with the registration number JJJ 764 XV, struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the expressway near the Total Filling Station at Anthony Oke in the early hours of the morning. The impact resulted in severe injuries to the pedestrian, including a broken left leg.
Eyewitnesses and commuters expressed concern over the incident, which drew significant attention due to its severity. Emergency response was swift, as personnel from the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) arrived on the scene to provide immediate medical assistance. The injured pedestrian was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.

LASTMA officials, who were on duty at the time, acted promptly by pursuing and arresting the fleeing driver at Oshodi. The suspect has been transferred to the Mosafejo Police Station, where further investigation is ongoing, and legal action will be taken.
