Senator Mikhail Abiru Inspects New SAIL Sport and ICT Hub Project in Ibeju-Lekki

In a significant development for the Ibeju-Lekki community, Distinguished Senator Mikhail Adetokunbo Abiru visited Orimedu earlier today to inspect the ongoing construction of the SAIL Sport and ICT Hub. This ambitious project, spearheaded by Senator Abiru, aims to enhance the local infrastructure and provide the community with state-of-the-art facilities.

The inspection was conducted alongside the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who warmly welcomed the Senator. The main contractor, FOLITECH Construction Company, was also present to guide the officials through the site and provide updates on the progress.

Once completed, the SAIL Sport and ICT Hub will feature an array of modern amenities, including:

- A mini football stadium

- An Olympic-size swimming pool

- A spectators' gallery

- An ICT Centre

- A vocational training hall for trades such as plumbing, wiring, and carpentry

- A cafeteria

- A viewing centre

Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, speaking on behalf of the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Senator Abiru for his commitment to bringing this transformative project to the area. He emphasized that the hub will greatly benefit the community by providing essential facilities and opportunities for both recreation and skill development.
