Electricity Relief on the Horizon for Ibeju-Lekki
Electricity Relief on the Horizon for Ibeju-Lekki
In a bid to address the persistent power supply issues in Ibeju-Lekki, officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources paid a visit to the area earlier today. The delegation, led by Surveyor (Mrs.) Agunbiade, alongside Deputy Directors Engr. Ambali and Engr. Osoba, as well as Assistant Director Engr. Baruwa, met with the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.
The visit focused on inspecting various locations for the proposed 66MVA Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) substation, which will feature two 132/33KVA transformers. Once completed, the substation is expected to drastically reduce power outages and improve electricity supply in the region.
Residents of Ibeju-Lekki can look forward to significant improvements in electricity supply once this project is completed, bringing much-needed relief to the local community.
