Wema Bank to Launch Season 4 of 5 for 5 Promo on October 1st, 2024

Wema Bank, Nigeria’s leading innovative financial institution and creator of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, is set to launch the 4th season of its popular *5 for 5 Promo* on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. 

Launched in 2021, the *Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo* is designed to reward customers for their loyalty and engagement with the bank's products and services. The promo, which operates through live draws, selects winners from the pool of active and transacting customers who meet the minimum eligibility criteria—set at just N5,000 in monthly transactions. 

Over the first three seasons, the promo has distributed over N150 million to 2,378 customers nationwide. The inaugural season saw 639 winners receiving N31.5 million, while the second and third seasons awarded N31.85 million to 539 customers and N90 million to 1,200 winners, respectively. As the highly anticipated fourth season approaches, excitement is building, with customers and potential participants eager for their chance at financial rewards.

In preparation for the new season, Wema Bank customers are encouraged to obtain a debit card, use the ALAT app, or transact via the *945# USSD code. Interested non-customers can join by opening a Wema Bank or ALAT account to participate.

Speaking about the upcoming launch, Moruf Oseni, Managing Director and CEO of Wema Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to offering rewarding experiences to its customers. The fourth season of the *Wema Bank 5 for 5 Promo* will officially kick off with a special Independence Day live draw on October 1, 2024. Customers can participate throughout the season by conducting transactions using the ALAT app, Wema/ALAT card, or the *945# USSD platform. Transactions from October 1, 2024, onwards are eligible for the promo, with millions of naira in rewards up for grabs.
