Controller of Corrections Visits Zone 2 Command, Seeks Collaboration

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Fayoade M. Adegoke, mni, psc, recently hosted the Controller of Corrections for Lagos State Command and his team in a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration.

During the visit, AIG Adegoke emphasized the importance of synergy among government agencies as a key component of effective policing and community safety. He noted that collaboration with the public and engagement with critical stakeholders has been central to the success of the Zone 2 Command’s operations. AIG Adegoke assured the visiting team of his commitment to working closely with sister agencies, including the Lagos State Corrections Command, to enhance security and improve public safety.

The meeting reflects a growing trend of inter-agency cooperation in Nigeria’s security sector, aimed at fostering a unified approach to tackling crime and maintaining order in the community.
