Debojo, Lagos – October 28, 2024* – In a move set to boost educational infrastructure in Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Adebayo Balogun, Member of the House of Representatives for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1, donated a six-classroom block to the Community Junior and Secondary School, Debojo. The classroom facility, commissioned today, drew the attention of dignitaries, community leaders, and educational stakeholders who gathered to celebrate the occasion.
Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, served as a special guest at the event and commended Hon. Balogun for his dedication to the development of education in the region. Hon. Olowa emphasized the enduring value of education, calling it "the best legacy any parent can leave behind." Addressing the students, he urged them to make the most of the new learning environment. The ceremony also included the distribution of exercise books to various secondary schools, such as Iwerekun Community Junior High School, Magbon-Alade Junior Secondary School, Lekki Junior High School, Onisolu Junior Secondary School, and Ibeju-Agbe Community Secondary School, among others.
