First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Denies Organizing National Prayer Event
Abuja, Nigeria – November 9, 2024*

The Office of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has officially denied organizing any National Prayer event. This clarification comes after reports began circulating on some media platforms suggesting her involvement in a joint National Prayer for Nigeria.

In a statement released by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, the First Lady dismissed the claims as false and misleading. “The news making rounds on certain social and conventional media platforms is unfounded,” the statement read, urging the public to disregard such reports.

While Senator Tinubu, a devout Christian, supports the power of prayer, she believes it should be done willingly and with the right intentions. She also emphasized that praying for Nigeria is a collective responsibility for all citizens, regardless of religious, political, or ethnic backgrounds.

The public is advised to verify any information concerning the First Lady or her Office through official channels to avoid being misled.
