Hon. Olowa Honored at EDCAA 2024 Awards

The historic town of Epe played host to the prestigious Epe Division Community Annual Awards (EDCAA) 2024, where the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, received accolades for his outstanding contributions to grassroots development.


Hon. Olowa was bestowed with a top award in recognition of his unwavering commitment to delivering impactful projects and policies that benefit his constituents. Speaking after receiving the award, he expressed his gratitude and described the honor as a motivation to intensify his efforts in ensuring the dividends of democracy reach every corner of the local government.


Also recognized at the event was the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Taxation and Revenue, Hon. Opeyemi Abdulkabir Ogungbo. The award was received on his behalf by Hon. Olowa, who praised Ogungbo’s significant contributions to revenue development in the state.

The ceremony attracted an array of dignitaries, including Hon. Olusegun Olulade, a former Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Epe Constituency II, Mr. Adebanjo Otukomaya, Administrative Comptroller of the Lekki Free Trade Zone, and a representative of Senator Adetokunbo Mukail Abiru.


The EDCAA continues to celebrate individuals and leaders dedicated to the growth and progress of Epe Division and its communities, highlighting the importance of grassroots impact in governance and development.
