Celebrating Excellence: Winners Emerge at InterswitchSPAK 6.0, Nigeria’s Premier STEM Competition

The grand finale of InterswitchSPAK 6.0, Nigeria's biggest national science competition, concluded with a showcase of brilliance, determination, and innovation from the nation's brightest young minds. This flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Interswitch has once again underscored its commitment to advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and fostering innovation among Nigerian youths.

Over the course of the competition, students from across Nigeria displayed remarkable talent, resilience, and problem-solving abilities. The electrifying journey, filled with challenging rounds, culminated in the emergence of three exceptional champions who exemplified academic excellence and determination.

Meet the Winners:

1. Ndudu Ekong Henry from Pegasus School, Akwa Ibom State, clinched the first prize, earning a ₦15 million scholarship spread over five years, a brand-new laptop, and monthly stipends to support his academic pursuits.
2. Eric Denyefa Omare from St. Gregory's College, Lagos State, secured the second position, winning a ₦10 million scholarship spread over three years and a new laptop.
3. David Umeojiaka from Graceland International School, Rivers State, emerged as the third-place winner, receiving a ₦5 million scholarship for one year and a new laptop.

Beyond the top three, the competition recognized other participants for their hard work and dedication. Students who placed fourth to ninth received cash prizes, while the top 18 semi-finalists and 27 teachers were also rewarded with gifts. Additionally, the top 200 preliminary qualifiers were awarded free JAMB e-PINs, further emphasizing Interswitch's dedication to making education accessible to all.

The winners expressed overwhelming gratitude and excitement, describing their participation in InterswitchSPAK as a life-changing experience. Their achievements underscore the value of perseverance, hard work, and innovation in achieving success.
