Lagos, Nigeria – January 28, 2025 – The prestigious NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament is set to return this February, with Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) proudly serving as the headline sponsor. Scheduled to take place at the Lagos Polo Club in Ikoyi from February 4 to February 23, 2025, the tournament promises a thrilling showcase of talent, sportsmanship, and community spirit.

Renowned as one of the most celebrated events in Nigeria’s sporting and social calendar, the Lagos Polo Tournament combines heritage, world-class polo action, and a vibrant social atmosphere. Last year’s tournament featured an electrifying six-chukka match, where Leighton Kings triumphed over Art Hotel Shoreline to secure the coveted Majekodunmi Cup.

This year’s event is set to raise the bar even higher, with top-tier teams competing for honors in both the Open Cup and the Majekodunmi Cup. Over the course of 18 days, spectators will witness a mix of high-goal and low-goal matches. Highlights of the tournament will include the Silver Cup, which runs across all three weeks, and the Low Cup, which takes center stage in the final week.

GTCO’s Commitment to Community Development
