2.8km Nawfia Road Completed in Njikoka LGA, Community Leaders Praise Governor Soludo

Governor Charles Soludo has successfully completed the construction of the 2.8km Nawfia Road in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. The newly completed road connects the Awka-Onitsha Old Road to the Awka-Onitsha Expressway, enhancing transportation and economic activities in the region.

This development is part of Governor Soludo’s broader infrastructural agenda, which aims to transform Anambra into a thriving hub for investment and economic growth. The completion of the road has been met with widespread commendation from local communities, who acknowledge the governor’s efforts in rejuvenating infrastructure across the state.

Speaking on Thursday, a community leader in Njikoka LGA, Adolphus Chukwuemeka, expressed gratitude for the administration’s commitment to infrastructural and economic progress. He stated, “On behalf of the people, I commend the good works of Governor Soludo and pray that God continues to guide him. We appreciate his leadership and governance style.”

In addition to the Nawfia Road, Governor Soludo recently oversaw the completion of the 2.62km Bank Road in Nnewi, which links to St. Mary’s Cathedral Church in Uruagu Nnewi. This project is a key component of his administration’s ongoing urban renewal efforts.

The Nawfia Road, previously in a deplorable state, has now been fully resurfaced with asphalt, with further plans to install streetlights and drainage systems to improve safety and sustainability.

According to Governor Soludo’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the administration’s infrastructural drive is aimed at positioning Anambra as the “Dubai of Africa.” This ambitious initiative reflects Soludo’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to business growth and economic prosperity in the state.
