Dangote Group Praised for Economic Contributions at Kaduna Trade Fair

The Federal Government has commended the Dangote Group for its role in Nigeria’s industrialization drive, as the company played a prominent role at the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair.

Dr. Dafang I. Sule, Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, acknowledged the company's contributions, stating that Dangote Group is "doing a good job" in Nigeria.

As one of the sponsors of the trade fair, Dangote Group has received praise from both the government and industry stakeholders. Dr. Sule highlighted the company's partnership with the ministry in implementing government policies, including the Backward Integration Programme, which fosters local production and economic self-sufficiency.

“The quality of Dangote products is not in doubt, and that is why people patronize them. The company continues to grow, and it is evident that it is doing a very good job,” he remarked.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) has recognized its partnership with Dangote Group as a key feature of the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair. Director General of KADCCIMA, Alhaji Usman Saulawa, described the conglomerate as a major driver of the Nigerian economy.

Saulawa emphasized the company’s positive impact on the business community in Kaduna State and beyond, noting that Dangote’s contributions extend to both national and global economic growth. He revealed that at least five countries are participating in the trade fair, which is themed "Promoting Efficiency in Manufacturing, Trade, and Agriculture through Digital Transformation."

“Our unique selling point is the collaboration between Kaduna State Government, Dangote Group, and other participating companies,” he added.

The Director General further praised the long-standing partnership between KADCCIMA and the Dangote Group, lauding Aliko Dangote’s unwavering support for the Chamber. He stated that through continued sponsorship and active participation of its Strategic Business Units, Dangote Group has significantly contributed to economic development in the state.
