As the Christian faithful worldwide embark on the solemn observance of Lent, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to use the season as a time of reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness.

In her Lenten message, the First Lady emphasized the significance of the 40-day period, urging Christians to strengthen their faith by following Christ’s example of love and selflessness. She encouraged believers to draw closer to God through repentance, supplication, and service to others.

“Let us walk together in the light of Christ, with hope in our hearts and compassion for all,” she said, stressing the importance of unity and goodwill among Nigerians.
