Glo Records Surge in Bulk Data Service Adoption
Technology giant, Globacom, is experiencing remarkable growth in the number of enterprise clients leveraging its Bulk Data services.

The self-service portal, designed for Glo Enterprise customers, enables them to gift data to other subscribers, a feature that has gained widespread popularity due to its numerous benefits. A portion of the Bulk Data can be allocated for free navigation of a mobile app or website, ensuring that specific users access the platform without incurring data charges. The enterprise customer sponsoring the service covers the associated costs.

Among the service offerings, the Schools’ Bucket Data Plan stands out with a 90-day validity period, allowing educational institutions to purchase Bulk Data for students’ academic use. Meanwhile, the Gifted Data Plan comes with a 30-day validity and offers sponsors the flexibility to share data with multiple Glo subscribers, even allowing repeated gifting to the same beneficiaries.

Sponsors can allocate data in various sizes, including 200MB, 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, 5GB, and 10GB, depending on the chosen plan. Additionally, recipients receive SMS notifications upon receiving gifted data, ensuring seamless communication.

Globacom emphasized that the Bulk Data service is unique as it allows for customization to suit the sponsor’s specific needs, setting it apart from similar offerings in the market. Beneficiaries can also check their data balance by dialing *127*0# on their devices.

The company clarified that the Bulk Data service is exclusively available to corporate organizations, schools, and tertiary institutions, reaffirming its commitment to supporting enterprises with cost-effective data solutions.
