Lagos CP Jimoh Moshood Pays Courtesy Visit to AIG Adegoke Fayoade
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, alongside senior officers from the command, paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2, Adegoke M. Fayoade, at the Zonal Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, on Thursday, March 21, 2025.  

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and seek professional guidance from the zonal leadership in enhancing security across Lagos State. During the meeting, CP Moshood shared his strategic plans for maintaining law and order and solicited support from the AIG in the ongoing fight against crime.  

AIG Fayoade commended the Lagos State Police Command for its efforts in ensuring peace and security since CP Moshood assumed office. He acknowledged positive feedback from the public regarding the improved safety in Lagos and assured the CP of his full support in tackling crime across both Lagos and Ogun States.  
The AIG also emphasized the importance of professionalism and adherence to global best practices within the force. He urged the CP to ensure that officers under his command conduct themselves with discipline, respect for the rule of law, and a commitment to upholding the integrity of the Nigeria Police Force.  

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both the Lagos Police Command and the Zone 2 Command to working together to enhance security and protect lives and property in the region.
