Ondo ALGON Chairman Commends Hon. Olowa on Infrastructural Development
Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos – The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Ondo State Chapter, Hon. Fasua Gbenga, has lauded the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, for his remarkable strides in infrastructural development.
Hon. Fasua, who also serves as the Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government in Ondo State, made these remarks during a courtesy visit to Hon. Olowa on Tuesday. He commended the ongoing rapid development in Ibeju-Lekki, particularly in the Council Secretariat, describing it as a model for effective governance.
"Ibeju-Lekki is witnessing tremendous infrastructural transformation, and Hon. Olowa’s efforts are commendable. His achievements have set a developmental benchmark that is gaining widespread recognition," Hon. Fasua stated.
In response, Hon. Olowa expressed his gratitude for the acknowledgment, attributing his administration’s success to the collective efforts of his cabinet, the legislative arm, and the council management. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in governance and expressed his willingness to strengthen partnerships for greater developmental impact.
The visit was attended by key stakeholders, including the Council’s Legislative Leader, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo; Councillor representing Ibeju II, Hon. Babatunde Ogungbo; Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Fatai Alonge; Council Manager, Mr. Abiodun Oladipo Otinwa; CDC Chairman, Comrade Jabita Adeboye, and other dignitaries.
The meeting underscored the significance of cross-state collaboration in local governance and highlighted the role of visionary leadership in driving infrastructural progress.
