Easter: AIG Margaret Ochalla Celebrates with Christians, Reaffirms Commitment to Justice and Security

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), AIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians and Nigerians at large, urging citizens to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, hope, and unity that the season represents.

In a message released on Saturday and signed by the department’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mayegun Aminat, the AIG encouraged Nigerians to reflect on the values of peace, compassion, and national harmony, while reaffirming the FCID’s unwavering commitment to justice, professionalism, and the protection of citizens’ rights.

“As we celebrate Easter, a season of renewal and reflection, I encourage all Nigerians to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and supportive of security efforts across the country,” AIG Ochalla stated.

She also called for responsible sharing of information, cautioning against the spread of false or unverified news that could threaten national peace and security.

While reiterating the department’s dedication to upholding the rule of law, the AIG urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property during and after the Easter celebrations.

The Force Criminal Investigation Department, she emphasized, remains committed to maintaining a safe and just society for all.
