POCACOV Lagos Chairman, Oladimeji Honoured with Doctorate Degree from Prowess University

Lagos, April 5, 2025 – The Chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) in Lagos State, Mr. Moses Oladimeji, has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Management by Prowess University, Delaware, USA.

The honorary doctorate, conferred in affiliation with the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS), was presented at a prestigious ceremony held at the University of Lagos on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

According to the Awards Selection Committee of IAMPS, the recognition celebrates individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Africa's transformational economy. The committee noted that Oladimeji’s nomination was based on his demonstrated integrity, accountability, transparency, and dedication to quality service delivery in both public and private sectors.

In a formal letter signed by the Chairman of the Awards Selection Committee, Professor Chidi Justice, Oladimeji was described as a proponent of peace, security, transparency, and humanitarian service. "You have been identified by our investigative team and confirmed by opinion molders across the country as a beacon of hope to the underprivileged in society," the letter stated.

The IAMPS also emphasized the recipient’s notable commitment to transformational leadership in education and public service, commending him as a selfless servant of humanity. The selection process was endorsed unanimously by IAMPS’ Advisory Board and Awards Committee.

IAMPS, which collaborates with Prowess University, boasts several international recognitions, including accreditation from the International Standard Organization (ISO), Euro American Joint Accreditation Services (EAJAS), World Safety Organization (WSO), and others.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Oladimeji expressed heartfelt gratitude to the university and the IAMPS committee for the recognition. “This honor places me on a higher pedestal of responsibility. It’s a call to greater service and commitment to society,” he said.

Reflecting on his role as POCACOV Lagos Chairman, Oladimeji reaffirmed his dedication. “Just as I said when I accepted to serve in POCACOV, I see this as a personal ministry and a divine calling. I will continue to serve with integrity and purpose.”

The event was attended by dignitaries from academia, civil society, law enforcement, and the media, further cementing Oladimeji’s reputation as a leader devoted to social change, youth reformation, and national development.
