Traders at Yakoyo Market in the Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State have extended heartfelt appreciation to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, for the successful delivery of newly constructed lock-up shops in the market.

The show of gratitude was marked by a well-attended Islamic prayer session hosted within the market premises by the market leaders – the Iya Oloja of Yakoyo Market, Alhaja Rofiat Lawal, and the Iya Oloja-General of Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Kuburat Salako. The duo led other market men and women in prayers and words of appreciation for the federal lawmaker, describing his intervention as timely, thoughtful, and impactful for grassroots development.

According to the market executives, the newly delivered lock-up shops will go a long way in improving business operations for traders, enhancing hygiene and safety within the market environment, and ultimately boosting the local economy.
