Anambra State Gears Up for President Tinubu's Visit

Anambra State Government has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will pay an official visit to the state on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, the President’s visit will feature the commissioning of key projects executed by the administration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR. The projects are expected to highlight the strides made under Soludo’s leadership, widely referred to as the “Solution Government.”

“As part of preparations for this significant visit, the public should expect slight adjustments to traffic and commuter movements,” Dr. Mefor stated, urging residents to cooperate with security operatives and relevant authorities to ensure smooth coordination.

He emphasized the state's readiness to give President Tinubu and his entourage a warm and hospitable reception, reflecting the hospitality Anambra is known for.

“The government deeply appreciates the understanding and support of Ndi Anambra. We are confident that, together, we will deliver a hitch-free and memorable visit for Mr. President,” the statement added.

President Tinubu’s visit marks a historic moment for the state as it showcases its ongoing development efforts to the nation’s highest office.
