In line with the tradition of respecting party elders and leaders, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has commenced a consultative engagement across all seven wards of the council. The visits are part of his efforts to formally inform stakeholders of his intention to seek re-election for a second term.

The week-long consultative tour, which began on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, saw Hon. Olowa leading a delegation comprising political appointees, supervisors, ward chairmen, and women leaders to the residences of key apex leaders in each ward.

At Ward F, the Chairman, alongside Alhaji Monsuru Oludaisi Kazeem and other top party members, visited the residence of Hon. Babatunde Logun. Later the same day, the delegation moved to Ward A, where they were received by Hon. Segun Bankole and the ward leadership.

In Ward B, the Chairman visited the home of the ward’s apex leader, Alhaji Onakoya Ganiyu Olatunji (popularly known as Baba Aje-awa), with Hon. Gbenga Balogun in attendance. Hon. Olowa reassured the leaders of his commitment to sustained developmental progress in the local government.

The team also visited Ward C1, where they were warmly received by Alhaji Adex and other stakeholders. The consultation continued at Ward C2, with the delegation heading to Magbon-Alade for another engaging interaction.

On Friday, May 2, the Chairman and his entourage paid a visit to Ward E, meeting with Hon. Idowu Eletu (Baba Omo Ke kee ke) and other ward leaders. During the visit, Hon. Olowa reiterated his dedication to the growth and development of Ibeju-Lekki and appealed for continued support ahead of the forthcoming election.

The consultative engagement, which has been described by observers as strategic and respectful of party traditions, is expected to continue in the coming days.
