Soludo Completes New Road Projects As Anambra Transformation Continues… Commended By Community Leaders
Governor Charles Soludo has completed new road projects in Anambra, continuing his urban regeneration agenda to make the state a destination where business and economic activities thrive and a livable place for the people.
The 10.3 km Isuaniocha-Urum-Amanuke-
Under Governor Soludo's administration, Anambra State has undergone major infrastructural development and transformation, with an avalanche of projects in key sectors of the economy. One recently constructed project is the double-lane Okpuno Road in Awka, with drainage on both sides and solar-powered street lights.
The Club Road junction, Awka, is another place that has just been transformed and now features a roundabout. This gives the state capital a facelift with modern facilities, in addition to the numerous projects delivered over the three years of Governor Soludo's administration.
The execution and completion of roads in the state is part of the ongoing road revolution by Soludo's government, intended to unite the communities in Anambra state into one large, smart megacity.
According to the State's Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, Governor Soludo's efforts through these projects have proven the critical difference between lofty plans and concrete achievements.
Soludo's efforts have been receiving commendation from indigenes of the state in Nigeria and diaspora, as evident during the recent town hall meetings held in Lagos, Abuja, and in the United Kingdom.
The governor has also made significant development in other sectors of the state, namely health, education, security, human capital development, innovation, and agriculture, among others, to make Anambra a state of attraction and an economic hub in the country.
