Addressing a cross-section of journalists, political stakeholders, and party faithful, Princess Olabanji-Oba expressed deep gratitude to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the people of Ikorodu, and President Tinubu for what she described as “visionary and courageous leadership that is restoring Nigeria’s greatness.”

She hailed the contributions of members of the Grow Ikorodu Movement, describing them as gallant and dedicated to grassroots transformation. “We are proud progressives. Though we recognize the political dynamics of the last primary elections, our loyalty to the party remains steadfast,” she noted, adding that party supremacy, fairness, and justice are the guiding principles of their engagement.
The event also served as a formal endorsement of President Tinubu’s second-term ambition. “I say it boldly and without blinking: We endorse President Tinubu for another term,” Princess Olabanji-Oba declared. “In just two years, he has achieved what others couldn’t in decades.”

Looking back at a decade of APC leadership in Nigeria, the APC Amazon praised the party for significant milestones, including the completion of the Second Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, thousands of kilometers of roads, and social intervention programmes such as N-Power, TraderMoni, and MarketMoni.
“APC has withstood immense global and domestic challenges — from COVID-19 to oil shocks — and yet, we are still standing strong,” she added.
Reaffirming Ikorodu’s loyalty to the APC, she said, “Ikorodu is 100% APC. From Ward A to G, we are united behind our party and its aspirants in the forthcoming local government elections. We will go house to house and street to street to ensure total victory.”
She concluded with a rousing call to action: “Nigeria is rising again. Lagos is glowing again. Ikorodu is growing again. Let’s keep the momentum going. This is our time, our call, and our Nigeria.”
