Primate Ayodele Predicts Constitutional Crisis in Mali, Warns Burkina Faso’s Traore of Imminent Attacks

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that Mali is on the brink of a constitutional crisis that could derail its democratic process.

Speaking during a session on global affairs at his church in Ejigbo, Lagos, on Friday, August 8, 2025, the cleric revealed that the date set for Mali’s democracy day would not materialise, predicting mass uprisings and public protests against the government.

Mali will have constitutional problems that will threaten their democracy. The day fixed for democracy will not be realistic because there will be uprising, uproar, and protests against the government,” he said.

Turning his attention to Burkina Faso, Ayodele cautioned the country’s military leader, Captain Ibrahim Traore, to remain vigilant, warning of planned attacks on both his person and the nation.

“They are planning to attack you and your country. Be very careful, as there are forces that want to battle your government. However, they will fail,” the cleric declared, urging Traore to seek divine protection, guidance, and direction in navigating the challenges ahead.
